Well I don’t want to do a Boston post yet because I’m still here so I might take more pictures plus I have like a video thing I’m doing so I want that to be up too before I do that. Anyway, I want to give you some inspiration, motivation, and advice. However, I must turn to my pal tumblr to help me along with this because I am not inspirational, motivational, or full of advice on my own, but as I am inspired it helps me to do so.
Sometimes you have a plan. Sometimes your plan doesn’t work out. Sometimes that plan was never meant to work out. I spend a lot of my time thinking about where I want to go with my life, and I think I spend a lot of time just waiting for it to fall out of the sky, or I’ll just fall into it. I’m not sure if that will ever happen, but sometimes when things don’t go quite my way, I look at the bigger picture and I see that maybe it was best this way. Sometimes what happens ends up being a lot better than what you would have expected. It’s okay if things don’t always go your way, it really is.
Life might suck. You might have had the worst day of your whole life, the worst year of your whole life, but that’s not going to last forever. One day you’ll wake up happy, or one day something will go right. Storms come and go, in nature and in life. Don’t get caught up in it, because eventually it will pass. Eventually you’ll see a rainbow or a silver lining. The point is that no matter how bad it gets, it will get better.
You can choose to be depressed and miserable about every little thing, or you can chose to be content. This doesn’t mean you’re choosing to be happy, you’re just choosing to be okay with what’s going on in the moment. Don’t get stuck on the bad, focus on what’s good in your life because that is what is important. I know it’s really easy to get stuck on what’s the bad because it’s more stressful however, you will be a lot happier if you focus on the good.
What is more inspiring than Michael Scott jumping into a refrigerator box and yelling parkour? The correct answer is nothing. He came out unharmed. That takes guts my friends, guts. Don’t do it though, bad idea. Real bad idea.
Whenever you feel like you can’t go on, remember this. Remember that there is so much more to life than a name you were called, a partner that dumped you, a lost job, and the days where nothing seems to go right. Never give up because you have so much to look forward to. It’s up to you to make the most out of your life, and I feel bad for people who don’t do so. There really are still so many more memories to be made and override all of the bad ones. Take the time to do these things and allow yourself to move on from the bad and be happy.
Slow down. I know you want to move fast, you want to get out of high school/college/a dead end job, but take your time. We only have 80 years on this earth and zooming through them won’t allow you to enjoy it. Take the time to go sit in a coffee shop and sip that coffee for a long time. Take the time to write a few poems. Take the time to inhale the air around you and embrace every moment because you never know when it’s going to be your last. Slow down and enjoy the little things, the simple things.
Well I hope this inspired someone! There is a travel post, update, two reviews, and a final relationship post all coming your way soon, can’t wait to share with you guys! I must get off to get ready for bed now seeing that I have to leave at 7:45 in the morning tomorrow. Thanks for reading and I hope you are having a great weekend!
